My morning…
Thank you Misty G

Hello there

I’m Jeanetta. As an artist and blogger I find inspiration in nature and nostalgia. My paintings and illustrations grow out of a love of my garden and the natural beauty around me combined with a compulsive habit of collecting old and abandoned items. I believe that some of our strongest feelings are stirred by the awe of nature and the connection to our past.

Tiny half inch painting in progress. I got frustra Tiny half inch painting in progress. I got frustrated always dropping these tiny painting so I stuck it to the end of a craft stick. Work smarter not harder.
“How do you paint so tiny?” The most asked que “How do you paint so tiny?” The most asked question I get about my art these days.
“Circuits” is my final new piece in the galler “Circuits” is my final new piece in the gallery this month. It is a small painting of birds nest fungi framed with salavaged wood and rattan vines.
The Mycelium is a network of circuits that mushrooms and other fungi use to communicate. Circuits connecting through electrical signals that resemble a language.
The rattan vine was gathered from my property. The salvaged wood came from an old fence board. Every brass piece was hand formed and soldered. You can see this piece and others through the end of May at the @centralarcollective gallery inside @thestudiodowntown at 1100 Oak Street in downtown Conway, Arkansas.
A “Statement Necklace” from my new collection A “Statement Necklace” from my new collection of art jewelry called The Settings. A fun bit of word play combining sunsets and jewelry terminology, this piece is a compilation of miniature painting, woodworking, leather work and metalsmithing. While these pieces can be worn, they are works of art and come with their own bespoke display stands so that they may be showcased in your home.

This piece is made from salvaged fence board, brass, and leather with a miniature acrylic painting embedded in the wood.
You can see this piece at the @centralarcollective gallery inside @thestudiodowntown at 1100 Oak Street in Downtown Conway, Arkansas. Our new show opening reception will be held Saturday, April 13, 5-7pm.
